Sam has been with Resolution Life since August 2019 and was promoted to VP, Head of Actuarial in November 2023 where he is accountable for all internal and external actuarial reporting for Resolution Re, as well as working closely with both the M&A and Group actuarial teams to ensure the smooth onboarding of new reinsurance treaties.

Sam has over 12 years of industry experience in both insurance and reinsurance. Prior to Resolution Re he spent two and half years at Athene Life Re in Bermuda as part of their valuation team and also worked at MetLife in various functions such as pricing and Cashflow Testing.

Sam has a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
