- Nick Bailey takes on Resolution Re leadership role

HAMILTON, BERMUDA -- Resolution Life today announced changes to its leadership in Bermuda.
Nick Bailey will take on the role of CEO, Resolution Re, the Bermuda-based reinsurance business of Resolution Life. In this capacity, Nick will play a pivotal role in steering the Bermuda reinsurance operations, overseeing the onboarding of new transactions, optimising capital efficiency, and strengthening local stakeholder engagement. Since joining Resolution Life in 2019, Nick led the financial reporting team in Bermuda and directed the execution and onboarding of critical reinsurance transactions. Nick brings more than 15 years of reinsurance experience to this role and is a distinguished Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and an Associate of Risk Management. Nick will report to Resolution Life President, Moses Ojeisekhoba.
Sam Zhou will take on the role of CFO of Resolution Re. He has spent nearly six years with Resolution Life, most recently as Head of Actuarial, leading Resolution Re’s actuarial function across valuation, collateral management, and FP&A. Sam brings more than ten years’ experience with companies such as MetLife and Athene and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Sam will report to Resolution Life CFO, Jonathan Moss.
Jonathan Moss, who has served as Resolution Re CEO and Interim CFO since January 2024, has transitioned to the role of Resolution Life CFO. He will continue to be based in Bermuda.
All appointments are subject to Bermuda Department of Immigration approval.
